Tarr Steps

Linocut print of Tarr Steps

This linocut print is of the medieval 'clapper' bridge on the River Barle in Exmoor National Park. The local legend says that the devil built the bridge and therefore has the right to sunbathe on it. He wasn't there when I visited, but the water was devilishly cold.

Printed on St. Cuthbert's Somerset paper. Measuring 40 x 15cm, this is a monochrome print.
